Condensed and synthetic- or protein-based foam parent materials which are called “foam extract”
and ready for mixing are imported from the Swedish company Fomtec represented by us. |

Selection is made and recommended to the user depending on the risk group in which the foam will be used. We offer the most appropriate product according to tank fire,
surface fire or types of fire which may occur at high elevations determining: |

It is generally used by mixing at the rate of 3% or 6%. However, some foam extracts – like those used in forest fires – are used in between 0.1% and 0.5%. Foam extracts are classed depending on their expansion ratios as:

Little expanded (Heavy Foam) – expansion ratio 1/1 – 20/1 |

Middle expanded (Middle Foam) - expansion ratio 20/1 – 200/1 |

Highly expanded (Light Foam) - expansion ratio 200/1 – 800/1. |

Unless their original packages’ covers are opened, unless they took the air in and as long as they are kept under the defined storage conditions, a shelf life of at least 10 years is guaranteed. Physical and chemical characteristics of foams are contained in MSDS documents with all of their details.
They are delivered in plastic packages of 25 lt., 200 lt. or 1000 lt. IBC (International Bulk Container) packages depending on the desire of the user. Depending on the plant and test methods desired by the user, we supply foam extracts as: |
