Law and regulations in force provide the documents, financial and administrative documents contained in archives to be kept for 5-30 years.
Protection of magnetic media, however, requires longer periods. Archives are operated by such measures which are both usable and may be protected at any time. Principle of design in such fire extinguishing systems to be planned for the purpose of protecting archive documents includes such solutions not to cause damage to the document or magnetic media. Therefore, especially gaseous extinguishing (FE 227 or FE 25) or "High Pressurized Water Mist" systems are preferred.

It is known that gaseous systems do not damage any magnetic documents.
Water mist system has been started to be used in archives and in a few number in our country.
However, its use becomes increasingly popular. Our technical and design team should carry out an analysis in advance for storage of the works-documents which have a structure that is likely damaged by humidity and have a historical value in archives. It is estimated that low pressurized water mist system would be more risky than high pressurized ones since water particle diameters of them are greater than high pressurized ones.

If the magnetic media or document protected is kept in special cabinets, not only the extinguishing system but also the shelved automatic archive systems provided from the archive company making manufacturing and software in Spain are provided with their special software containing easy access to the document through computer and addressing/inventory, and our company installs a “Professional Archive” in the form of turnkey. Archive management which is remembered especially with the state sector, ministries and corporate firms is used by an employee authorized by the program under network.

Our aim is not only to protect the archive but also to establish a professional archive and install the special software to ensure operation and network system, to protect on basis of turnkey. Protection – easy access and inventory system, moving shelf system and fire extinguishing system to be used in the installation are approved and accredited.

Our extinguishing agent to be used in archives is FE 227, FE 25 or high pressurized “Water Mist” system. If there is not an employee in the archive continuously, CO2 system is also presented as an alternative.
