Roof ventilation covers are designed as an element of the structure in order to remove smoke and heat in the structure or complexes to the atmosphere naturally according to the fire scenario, evacuation plans and architecture. They are used especially single-storey industrial facilities storage and production areas. A zone must be created per 2000m2 pursuant to our fire regulation. It is expected in doing so to prevent more advanced movement of fire, ensure a vertical spread instead of a horizontal spread. Roof covers should be opened together with increase in heat so that the smoke which occurs in the course of fire may be sent to the atmosphere naturally. These equipments which are called roof ventilation covers or roof exhaust covers or valves are applied in such areas which act as a chimney in the course of fire (collecting smoke and heat and carrying to the top elevations) like staircases, installation shafts, ventilation spaces.
